Simply hover your mouse over the maximize/minimize button of a window or press Win + Z to reveal preset arrangements tailored to your current screen dimensions and layout.
Snap layout support in Photoshop is automatically activated on Windows computers.
Enhanced Usability
Photoshop's interface is user-friendly and incorporates various features to improve usability:
Adjustable brightness levels: Navigate to Edit > Preference (Windows) or Photoshop > Preferences (Mac OS), then select a Color Theme swatch in the Interface section.
Note: Quickly lower brightness by pressing Shift + 1; to increase brightness, press Shift + 2. (For Mac OS users, press the FN key along with the respective shortcuts.)
On-image displays: Keep track of key details while using tools. On-image displays provide real-time information such as selection dimensions and transformation angles. To reposition these displays, choose an option from the Show Transformation Values in the Interface preferences.
Maximized screen space: Toggle between Standard and Fullscreen display modes by selecting the button at the bottom of the toolbar.
Customizable UX color: Tailor the interface by selecting one of the available color themes: Black, Dark Gray, Medium Gray, or Light Gray. Follow these steps:
Go to Edit > Preferences > Interface.
Select your preferred color theme.

Toggle visibility of all panels:
- To toggle visibility of all panels, including the Tools and Control panels, press Tab.
- To toggle visibility of all panels except the Tools and Control panels, press Shift+Tab.
Note: You can temporarily reveal hidden panels if Auto-Show Hidden Panels is enabled in Interface preferences. Simply hover the pointer over the edge of the application window (Windows) or monitor (Mac OS) where the strip appears.
Options for displaying panels:

Additionally, in Photoshop, you have the ability to adjust the font size within panels and tooltips. In the Interface preferences, you can select a font size from the UI Font Size menu. If you want to adjust the entire Photoshop interface based on your selected font size, simply choose "Scale UI To Font."
Adjusting the Tools panel layout:
To reconfigure the Tools panel, click on the double-arrow icon positioned at the top-left corner of the Toolbar. This action will expand the panel into a more condensed, double-column format. To revert back to the original single-column layout, click the arrows once more.
